Literature Text

Run away,
And lose myself to
Yesterday.
Let it absorb the
Girl who just wants to
Leave.

I don't want to be
Here anymore.
I don't want the future
To come,
And I don't want the
Past undone from its
Silken scarves that I've
Hidden away.

Maybe it's just me
Who doens't like this place,
Maybe it's my fault that
I can't escape.
The only place called
Home is not an Eden,
So let me go and
Run away.

I don't want to see
The shadows on the
Walls,
I don't care about the time
I just want to sleep.
Why does the past
Keep bothering me?
Why does it keep me
Up at night?
Answer this and maybe
I'll stay.

I want you to go away,
I don't want to see you today,
Or any other day.
I just want to be alone,
Don't you dare come home,
I'd rather run away.

Forget about the past,
Pretend I'm just a dream
And you'll be alright.
I'll make sure you'll
Never be reminded of the
Girl who ran away.

I'll be taking my stuff
With me,
I'm going to the city,
I'll start over again
Just like I did before.
I'll forget all about you,
I won't leave a clue,
A trace, a path
So you can follow me.

I'd just like to run away,
Lose myself to yesterday,
And slowly disappear.
Yes, disappearing sounds much fun at the moment.

Last six lines are beautiful...almost souns like a song. You just need to put it to a melody.
